The Membership Categories are listed below:
- Graduate

The requirements for each of the levels is as detailed below:
Graduate
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree/HND or its equivalent
- Evidence of exemption/completion of NYSC
- Participation in the Institute’s induction programme
Associate
- Minimum of three years work experience
- Minimum of Bachelors degree/HND or its equivalent
- Currently employed and occupying a position not less than a supervisor or manager
- Participation in the Institute’s induction programme
Full Member
- Minimum of 10 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree/HND or its equivalent
- Currently employed and occupying a position of not less than a supervisor or manager
- Participation in the Institute’s induction programme
Fellow
- Minimum of 15 years experience
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree/HND or its equivalent
- Currently employed and occupying a position of not less than a manager or senior executive position.
- Participation in the Institute’s induction programme
